Character Report
In this scene, my character, Benvolio, is trying to entertain himself with Mercutio. He is following around Mercutio to just hang around and have fun together by teasing Romeo together. Romeo gets in the way because he isn't just taking the jokes. My character stops joking by the middle of the scene, and Mercutio does the rest with making fun of Romeo. Benvolio's way of speaking is very joyful. Benvolio seems to be enjoying before Romeo came, but after Romeo comes, only Mercutio and Romeo talk, and Benvolio does not talk at all. During that part of the scene, Benvolio seems to become wordless, or he's not enjoying any more.

James Chung's Scene Analysis

In 2.4 lines 1 to 103, Mercutio, Benvolio, Romeo are the three characters that appear in the scene. In this scene, Benvolio and Mercutio makes fun of Romeo by teasing him how Romeo fell in love with Juliet. This scene is important because by the end of the scene, Mercutio and Benvolio stops teasing Romeo. Also, this scene shows how Romeo is very serious about his love. My first impression was how this scene includes unnecessarily inappropriate languages.
